Xincun Port in Lingshui, Hainan, the Danjia people live in the fishing port on the Nanwan Peninsula. They are called sea gypsies. The houses floating on the sea are their homes for generations. The fish rafts separated into terraces in the sea are used to breed seafood. Axing takes a boat to fish for seafood, buys fresh seafood at the wharf market, and the Danjia people cooks delicious food. Qigu fish porridge, sea urchin steamed egg, spicy fried razor clams, fresh abalone, chicken leg snails, and steamed lobster are all local characteristics.
